Indian School of Mines invites applications for following posts:
Librarian
Pay Scale: Rs.37400-67000/- + Grade Pay: Rs.10, 000/-
Age: Max 50 years
Qualification:
1. Master’s degree in Library Science/Information Science with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade for 55% where grading system is practiced.
2. A Ph.D. degree in the above discipline and / or allied discipline with a consistently good academic record;
3. A minimum of 15 years of teaching/librarian experience of which at least 5 years experience as a Deputy Librarian in a University Library or 10 years’ experience as Assistant Librarian in the University or as College Librarian.
4. Evidence of innovative library service and organization of published work and ICT modernization of library. Evidence of published work with a minimum of 5 books and / or publications in indexed/ISBN/ISSN numbered journals/books and University developed ISBN/ISSN numbered list of journals hosted on the website of the concerned University.
5. A minimum score (to be issued by Registrar / Head of the Institute) as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based Performance Based Appraisal System (PBAS) developed by UGC in these Regulations.

1. Nine years of experience as Assistant Professor in the AGP of Rs. 6000.00 and above with experience in educational administration, or
2. Comparable experience in research establishment and/or other institutions of higher education, or
3. 5 years of administrative experience as Assistant Registrar on in an equivalent post. Pay Scale: PB-3: Rs.15600-39100/- + Grade Pay: Rs.7600/-

Knowledge of office management, personnel, finance and accounts/purchase and stores/ computer application office automation/dealing in legal cases and RTI Matters/general administration/academic and examination will be preferable.
Pay Scale: Rs.15600-39100/- + Grade Pay: Rs.5400/-
Age: Max 38 years
Qualification:
A Master degree with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade.
Desirable:
Knowledge of office management, personnel, finance and accounts/purchase and stores/ computer application office automation/dealing in legal cases and RTI Matters/general administration/academic and examination will be preferable.
