UPSC will hold the Combined Defence Services Examination (I) , 2011 on 13th Februaryr 2011 for admission to Indian Military Academy , Naval Academy and Air Force Academy for the courses commencing in July 2011 and Officers Training Academy , Chennai for the Courses (Men & Women) commencing in April 2012

1. Assistant Commandants in CISF
• No of Posts : 41 (21 for the year 2010, 20 for the year 2011)
• Age : Should not be above 35 years of age on 1st Aug 2010 ( 1st Aug 2011 for the vacancies of 2011)
• Qualification : a) have completed 04 years of regular service in the rank of SI/Exe on 01.01.2010 ( 01.01.2011 for the vacancies of 2011 ) including the period of basic training. b) should have been unblemished record for last 04 years and not having any major punishment in entire service career.
