Applications are invited for filling up the following posts:-
Arbitrator
No. of Posts: 01
Pay Scale: PB-4 Rs.37,400-67,000/- with Grade Pay of Rs.10,000/- (Rs.18,400-22,400)(pre-revised) on deputation basis.
Eligibility:
(a)(i) Chief Engineer (Civil) or Chief Engineer (Electrical) or Chief Architect in the pay scale of PB-4 Rs.37,400-67,000/- with Grade Pay Rs.10,000/- in the Ministeries or Departments of the Central Governments or Joint Secretary and Legal Advisor in the pay scale of PB-4 Rs.37,400-67,000/- with Grade of Pay Rs.10,000/- in the Indian Legal Service in the parent cadre/Department;or
(ii) Superintending Engineers or Senior Architects in the pay scale of PB-3,Rs.15,600-39,000/- with Grade Pay Rs.7,600/-.
(b) Possessing five years experience in Group ‘A’ service handling contractual disputes including defending cases of Departmental Contracts in arbitration or courts.
Desirable Qualification:
Degree in Law from a recognized University or Institute or equivalent.
Age Limit: The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation shall be not exceeding 56 years as on the closing date of the receipt of the applications.
