1. Lecturer in Education
No. of Posts: 01
Scale of Pay: Pay Band Rs.15600-39100 + GP 5400
Essential Qualification:
Master’s Degree from recognized University with not less than 50% marks and M.Ed. Special Education (V.I) with not less than 55% marks or an equivalent grade of B in 7-point scale or an equivalent degree from a foreign university recognized by RCI.
Desirable:
1. Ph.D./M.Phil in Education with research emphasis on Special Education.
2. Experience for a period of at least 3 years as teacher or researcher in the area of visual disability or 3 years of teaching experience at the Diploma level.

2. Lady Supervisor

Scale of Pay: Rs.5200-20200 + Grade Pay 2800
Essential Qualification:
1. Matriculation or equivalent.
2. Certificate in nursing.
3. 3 years nursing experience and/or 3 years experience in hostel management.
Age Limit: 45 Years

3. Mobility Instructor
No. of Posts: 01
Scale of Pay: Pay Band Rs.9300-34800 Grade Pay Rs.4200
Essential Qualification:
1. Degree from recognized university.
2. Certificate/Diploma of training in O & M Instructors of the Visually Handicapped at a Course recognized by the Govt. of India.
3. At least 3 years experience of imparting training in O & M.

4. Music Instructor
No. of Posts: 01
Scale of Pay: Pay Band Rs.5200-20200 + 2800 GP
Essential Qualification:
1. Sound knowledge of vocal and instrumental music and ability to teach.
2. Degree or diploma in Music.
Age Limit: 30 Years

5. Inspectors Braille Appliances
No. of Posts: 01
Scale of Pay: Pay Band Rs.5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs.2400
Essential Qualification:
1. Matriculation or equivalent.
2. Trade Certificate in light Engineering with 3 years experience in inspection/production of various components of Braille appliances.
3. Should be well conversant with the use of go and no-go gauge,ring gauge and other instrument.
4. Should be well versed in the use of all Braille appliances.
5. Should have good knowledge of Braille.

6. Copy Holder

Scale of Pay: Pay Band Rs.5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs.2400
Essential Qualification:
1. Graduate degree from a recognized university.
2. Knowledge of Standard English and Bharti Braille.
3. Good knowledge of one regional Language.
4. English and Hindi as subject at Intermediate level.
Desirable:
1. Two years experience in a Braille Press.
Age Limit: 35 Years

7. Lower Division Clerk (LDC)
Scale of Pay: Rs.5200-20200 + 1900 Grade Pay
Essential Qualification:
1. Matriculation or an equivalent examination.
2. Typing speed 30 words per minute in English.
3. Knowledge of computers.
Age Limit: 25 Years

8. Technician Grade-II

Scale of Pay: Rs.5200-20200 Grade Pay Rs.1900
Essential Qualification:
1. High School or Equivalent.
2. Certificate of NCVT in the trade of Fitter/Carpenter with two years experience in Tool Room Work.
Desirable:
1. Having knowledge of computer aided designing (C.A.D.).
2. Three years experience of manufacturing of Braille Appliances.

9. Plumber

Scale of Pay: Pay Band Rs.5200-20200 Grade Pay Rs.1900
Essential Qualification:
1. VIII class Passed.
2. I.T.I. Certificate Relaxable in case of experienced hand for at least 7 years.
3. Five years experience in the line
Age Limit: 30 Years
