• Age Limit : Not exceeding 54 years
• Subject/Discipline : Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical Engg./ M Sc (Electronics)

2. Scientist E : 10 Posts
• Pay Scale : Rs. 37,400-67,000/- & Grade Pay 8,700/-
• Subject/Discipline :
  Aerospace/ Mechanical Engg - 01 Marine/Mechanical Engg - 02 Marine/Mechanical Engg - 01 Naval Architecture - 02 Electronics/Electrical Engg. - 03
• Age Limit : Not exceeding 45 years.

3. Scientist D : 01 Post
• Pay Scale : Rs. 15,600-39,100/- & Grade Pay 7,600/-
• Subject/Discipline :Electronics/Electrical Engg
• Age Limit : Not exceeding 45 years.

4. Scientist C : 01 Post
• Pay Scale : Rs. 15,600-39,100/- & Grade Pay 6,600/-
• Subject/Discipline :Naval Arch & Ocean Engg
• Age Limit : Not exceeding 35 years.
