Animal Supervisor (Civilian)

Scale of Pay: Rs.6500-200-10500 (pre-revised)
Duration of deputation: Not exceeding three years
Eligibility Conditions:
(a) Officers under the Central Government or State Governments or Union Territories or Universities or Recognised Research Institutions or Public Sector Undertakings or Semi-Government or Statutory or Autonomous Organisations:-
(i) Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or department; or
(ii) With three year’s regular service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in the scale of pay of Rs.5500-9000 (pre-revised) or equivalent in the parent cadre/department,and
(b) Possessing the following educational qualifications and experience:-
(i) Bachelor’s Degree in Science with Zoology as a subject from a recognized university or equivalent.
(ii) Two years experience in animal breeding or animal supervision in Zoological Parks or Veterinary Hospital.
