Tea Board, a Statutory Body under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India, wants to engage following 04 Scientists for its Darjeeling Tea Research & Development Centre located at Kurseong,

   

Disciplines

1. Biochemist
• Qualification : M.Sc. (Agri.)/M.Sc. in Biochemistry/M.Sc. (Botany), Ph.D., 5 years’ Research Experience in the specialized field/subject in tea flavour chemistry or in plantation crops as evidenced by publication of research work

2. Agronomist / Soil Scientist
• Qualification : M.Sc. (Agri.)/M.Sc. in Agronomy/M.Sc. in Soil Science, Ph.D., 5 years Research Experience in the specialized field/subject in tea or in plantation crops after obtaining Ph.D. degree

3. Plant Breeder / Biotechnologist
• Qualification : M.Sc. (Agri.)/M.Sc. in Plant Breeding/ M.Sc. in Biotechnology /M.Sc. (Botany), Ph.D., 5 years Research Experience in the specialized field/subject in tea breeding or in plantation crops breeding.

4. Plant Protection Specialist
• Qualification : M.Sc. (Agri.)/M.Sc. in Plant Pathology/ M.Sc. in Entomology/ M.Sc. (Botany), Ph.D., 5 years
  Research Experience in the specialized field/subject in tea diseases and pest control or in plantation crops diseases and pests

Renumeration : 35,000/- per month consolidated

Age Limit : 40 years as on 29.04.2011
