ELIGIBILITY : ANY GRADUATE

The Lady Meherbai D. tata Education Trust awadrs scholarships to Indian women graduates of recognised Indian Universities to pursue higher education abroad. for the academic year 2011 -12.

Study Field :Social Work/Social Science /Education /Education and Welfare of Children with Special Needs/ Status-Health and Empowerment of women/Gender Studies/Children Health,Development , Nutrition.Health Policy and Health Education/Public Health Community Health Service,Reproductive Health/Rural Development Work (With a focus on Women and children)Communication for development (with a focus on women's issues).

Requirement :Indian women graduates from a recognised Indian University.Have a consistently remarkable academic record. Must have applied for admission /secured admission to universities or istitutions in the United States , UK or Europe for the year 2011-2012. Work Experience in the requisite  fields will be considered an added qualification.Note : Candidates in part time ,short or correspondence courses are not eligible to apply.

HOW TO APPLY : The application forms will be available from the Trusts office at Mulla Hause,3rd floor,51 ,M.G.Road, Mumbai 400 001, India from Tuesday 22nd march 2011 to Thursday 21 st April 2011 . The deadline to submit the completed forms at the Trusts office is Friday 13 May 2011

INDIAN NAVY SSC OFFICER (TECHNICAL BRANCHES) 2011 JOBS

Naval Academy Ezhimala(NAVAC) is located at in the Kannur (Cannanore) District of Kerala, which forms a part of its North Malabar Region. Nestled between the imposing Mount Dilli, serene  Kavvayi  backwaters  and majestic  Arabian Sea, NAVAC provides an idyllic setting for training with its picturesque and tranquil   environment.   This is the  premier training establishment of the Indian Navy  and  will  conduct  the  basic  training for  all  officers being inducted into the Indian Navy under various schemes. INS Zamorin is the base depot ship for administrative and logistic support for NAVAC.

Indian Navy inviting Applications from unmarried  candidates for Short Service Commission (SSC) in the Technical Branches (General Service-Engg & Electrical ) / Submarine Cadre Engg & Electrical for Course commencing January 2012 at NAVAC Ezhimala, Kerala. Candidates to fulfil condition of nationality as laid down by the Government of India.


ELIGIBILITY :

Age : 191/2 to 25 yrs as on 02 Janu 1987 to 01 July1992


Physical standard : 
The candidates must be physically fit according to following physical standards:
(a) Height and Weight. Minimum height - 157cms 
for men  with correlated weight.
(b) Eye Sight. :  6/24, 6/24 correctable to 6/6 in each eye with glasses. 
 
SELECTION : Short listed candidates will be called for Service Selection Board (SSB) interviews& Medical Test SSB interviews for Short-listed candidates will be scheduled during 2011 Aug-Nov at Bangalore, Bhopal or Coimbatore.
 
HOW TO APPLY : (a) Application Forms in accordance with the prescribed format and complete in all respects with superscription on the envelope “Application for "Tech (GS/Tech(SUB) and Aggregate Percentage (1 to 8 Semesters)---------- ” are to be sent to the address on or before  18th April 2011. POST BAG NO. 04, RK Puram ,Po (main)  New Delhi - 110 066 (b) Application must be sent in the prescribed format, otherwise it will be rejected. (c) Application must be accompanied by attested copies of 10th Standard Certificate and BE B.Tec 1st Sem to 8th Sem Mark Sheet(for verification of Date of Birth) and other educational certificates as required (d) Application and requisite enclosures must be properly tagged by thread/stapled. Note: Applications to be sent by ordinary post only. Courier/Speed/Registered Post will not be accepted.

Age Limit : 191/2 - 25 Yrs (candidate to be born between 02nd Jan 1987 to 1st July 1992 )

Physical Standards : 

(a) Height and Weight. Minimum height Male - 157 cms,  Female-152cms, with correlated weight.

(b) Eye Sight : The minimum acceptable vision standard for distant vision 6/6, 6/9 correctable to 6/6, 6/6 . Shouldn't have colour /night blind.

Selection process: Short-listed candidates will be called for an Interview followed by a medical examination. Interview will be held at Bangalore/ Bhopal/ Coimbatore.
