The Indian Coast Guard, an Armed Force of the Union, offers a challenging and inspiring career as a Group A Gazetted Officer in the pay scale for Assistant Commandant .

1. Assistant Commandant General Duty
• Qualification : Bachelor’s degree with 60% Male marks in aggregate of a university recognised by the Central/ State Govt./UGC and minimum 60% in 12th Std of 10+2+3 scheme of education with Maths &
  Physics as subjects

2. Assistant Commandant General Duty ( Pilot/Navigator)
• Qualification : B.Sc with Maths & Physics and 55% marks in aggregate and minimum 60% in 12th Std of 10+2+3 scheme of education.

3. Assistant Commandant (Commercial Pilot License) for Short Service Appointment
• Qualification : 12th class passed or equivalent with 60% marks and should possess current /valid Commercial Pilot license (CPL) on the date of selection

4. Assistant Commandant General Duty (Women) for Short Service Appointment
• Qualification : Bachelor’s degree with 60% marks in aggregate of a university recognised by the Central/ State Govt./UGC and minimum 60% in 12th Std of 10+2+3 scheme of education with Maths & Physics as subjects

5. Assistant Commandant Technical (Mechanical & Aeronautical)
• Qualification : Degree with 60 % marks in aggregate in Naval architecture / Mechanical/ Marine/Design/ Production /Aeronautical/ Auto motive / Mechtronics / Industrial and Production/ Metallurgy/Design / Aeronautical / Aerospace/ Control & Production and minimum 60 % in 12th Std of 10+2+3 scheme of education or Should have passed sections A and B of institute of engineer (India) examination in any of the discipline listed above with 55 % marks

Registration and Preliminary Selection will be carried out on the spot at following venues

Pay Scale for the above posts: Rs.15600-39100 with Grade Pay Rs 5400.

Indian Navy invites unmaried Men and Women to join Navy as Short Service Commissioned (SSC) Officer as Pilot/ Observer in Executive Branch Course Commencing - July 2011

Online/ Offline Applications are invited from unmarried Male and Female Indian Citizens for Short Service Commission (SSC) Officer as Pilot/ Observer in Executive Branch of the Indian Navy for Course commencing January 2012 at Naval Academy.

Age : Between 19 to 23 years (candidates to be born between 02 January 1989 to 01 January 1993; both dates inclusive)

Educational Qualifications :  A Graduate Degree in any discipline with an aggregate of 65% marks with Physics and Mathematics as main subjects at 10+2 level.

SSC : Short Service Commission is granted for a term of 10 years, extendable to 14 years, subject to service requirements and performance/willingness of the candidate.
