1. Lecturer in Education

Essential Qualification:
Master’s Degree from recognized University with not less than 50% marks and M.Ed. Special Education (V.I) with not less than 55% marks or an equivalent grade of B in 7-point scale or an equivalent degree from a foreign university recognized by RCI.
Desirable:
1. Ph.D./M.Phil in Education with research emphasis on Special Education.
2. Experience for a period of at least 3 years as teacher or researcher in the area of visual disability or 3 years of teaching experience at the Diploma level.

3. At least 3 years experience of imparting training in O & M.

1. Sound knowledge of vocal and instrumental music and ability to teach.

5. Inspectors Braille Appliances

Scale of Pay: Pay Band Rs.5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs.2400
Essential Qualification:
1. Matriculation or equivalent.
2. Trade Certificate in light Engineering with 3 years experience in inspection/production of various components of Braille appliances.
3. Should be well conversant with the use of go and no-go gauge,ring gauge and other instrument.
4. Should be well versed in the use of all Braille appliances.
5. Should have good knowledge of Braille.
