Junior Competition Lawyers Internships 2011 at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer

Introduction : We are currently recruiting aspiring junior competition lawyers to fill internships in our antitrust, competition and trade (ACT) group. The internships last from six months to a year – giving us the chance to get to know you (and vice versa) – and may result in the offer of an associate position.

Skills and Experience : You will have excellent academic credentials at undergraduate level in a university in Europe and an additional qualification in antitrust/competition/trade law and/or European studies. Fluent in both written and spoken English and with at least one other European language, you will have a genuine interest in the competition field and some relevant professional experience in this area. Experience at one of the European institutions is considered a plus.

What do we offer : You will work in a close team of lawyers in advising our national and international client base on a broad range of legal issues. Your tasks will include drafting legal documents, undertaking legal research, attending client meetings, preparing internal presentations, and you will quickly gain personal responsibilities on transactions.
