Central Electricity Supply Utility of Orissa (CESU) invites applications from the eligible candidates for the post of Jr. Artisan-A (Trainee) for engagement in CESU Distribution System.
Jr. Artisan-A (Trainee)
Job Requirement:
For Construction and Maintenance of Lines, Substation & equipments, Erection of poles/Towers & its related activities such as lifting of poles, climbing of Poles/Towers, cleaning of substation equipments & painting of structures, excavation & earth works etc. Replacement of street lights, Fuse replacement, Jungle clearance, Revenue related activities, Customer Service & such other works to be assigned from time to time.
Qualification:
The candidate must be a Matriculate with 50% marks in aggregate and possess:
(i) National Trade Certificate in Electrician Trade from Institution recognized by SCTE & VT / NCVT OR National Apprenticeship Certificate in Lineman Trade from SCTE & VT/ NCVT with 60% marks.
(ii) Certificate of passing Oriya Language Test (Minimum M.E.Standard)
Age: The candidate should be above 18 years of age and below 32 years of age as on 01.05.2011. There is no upper age limit for candidates engaged in CESU Distribution System.
Approximate Requirement: 1000 No., which may be altered depending on requirement.
How To Apply:
The eligible candidates may submit their applications in the following format neatly typed or hand written and duly filled in along with Account Payee Bank Draft (non refundable) of Rs. 200/- (Rs.150/- for written examination Fee & Rs.50/- towards speed post charge) only drawn on a Scheduled Bank in favour of CESU, Bhubaneswar, payable at Bhubaneswar, two recent passport size attested photographs (One to be pasted on the application form), attested copies of certificates and Mark sheets (starting from matriculation onwards), copy of certificate regarding passing of language test in Oriya of M.E standard (not applicable in case of candidates who have passed Matriculation examination with Oriya as one of the language papers) and three self addressed unstamped envelope (25 cms X 11 cms) addressed to the DGM(HRD), Central Electricity Supply Utility of Orissa, IDCO Towers 2nd Floor, Janpath, Bhubaneswar-751022. The envelope containing application should be super scribed “Application for the post of Jr.Artisan-A (Trainee)” and submitted through ordinary post/hand delivery. The candidate is required to write his full name on the reverse of Demand Draft. The candidates working in State Govt. / Central Govt Organizations / PSUs shall produce “No Objection Certificate” from their employer at the time of personal interview.
The last date of receipt of application is 25.05.2011. The application received after due date or in incomplete shape or without required enclosures (Educational Certificates, Mark Sheets, Photographs, Envelopes, Demand Draft) or not in the prescribed format shall be rejected. The management reserves the right to accept/ reject any application on the basis of prescribed criteria, to increase or decrease the number of positions advertised or cancel the entire recruitment process and to restrict the number of candidates to be called for Written Test / Interview, raising the eligibility standard.
