• Medical Standards : Height :Minimum acceptable height : 152.5 cm, Chest : Minimum range of expansion : 5 cm, Vision : 6/36 each eye., Correctable with spectacles : at least 6/9 each eye., Diopteric power : not exceeding +3.5
• Training : Initial Joint Basic Phase Training (JBPT) will be provided at Airmen Training School, Belgaum (Karnataka) for 12 weeks. After it Trade Training will be provided.
• Stipend : Rs.5700 pm will be paid during training.
• Selection Procedure : Written Test : Test will be held during Spetember 2011. Physical Fitness Test (PFT) : those who pass written test will undertake Physical Fitness Test. • Age : Below 40 years
• Qualification : High II Class Masters degree with atleast 55% marks in Zoology/ Botany/ Entomology/ Agriculture/ Agronomy/ Chemistry/ Sericulture from a recognised University with 5 years . Research experience as evidenced by Research Publications in reputed journals.

2. Scientist - B (Reeling & Spinning) : 05 Posts
• Age : Below 40 years
• Qualification : High II Class Masters degree with atleast 55% marks in Textile Technology/ Textile Chemistry or Textile Engineering from a recognised University with 5 years Research experience.
• Pay Scale : PB-3 Pay Rs. 15600-39100 + Grade Pay Rs. 5400/-

3. Computer Programmer : 03 Posts
• Age : Below 30 years
• Qualification : Graduate with II class in Computer Science with 2 years experience in Electronic Data Processing (EDP) OR Graduate with II class, in Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Commerce, Economics and Post Graduate Diploma Course in Computer Applications and 2 years experience in EDP OR M.Sc. in Computer Science
• Pay Scale : PB-2, Pay Rs. 9300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs. 4600/-

4. Senior Mechanic : 02 Posts
• Age : Below 30 years
• Qualification : Diploma in Refrigeration & Air-Conditioning Engineering or equivalent qualification from a recognized Institute
• Pay Scale : PB-2, Pay Rs. 9300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs. 4200/-

5. Assistant (Technical) : 04 Posts
• Age : Below 30 years
• Qualification : IInd Class Bachelors degree with at least 50% marks in Entomology/ Zoology/ Botany/ Agriculture/ Sericulture or an equivalent qualification from a recognized University
• Pay Scale : PB-2, Pay Rs. 9300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs. 4200/-

6. Junior Translator (Hindi) : 03 Posts
• Age : Below 30 yrs
• Qualification : IInd Class Masters Degree in Hindi from a recognized University with Diploma in Translation from Hindi to English and vice-versa
• Pay Scale : PB-2, Pay Rs. 9300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs.4200/-

7. Technical Assistant (Reeling & Spinning) : 02 Posts
• Age : Below 27 yrs
• Qualification : 3 year Diploma Course in Textile Technology / Handloom Technology from a recognized Institute.
• Pay Scale : PB-2, Pay Rs. 9300 - 34800 + Grade Pay Rs. 4200/-

8. Assistant : 03 Posts
• Age : Below 30 years
• Qualification : IInd Class Bachelors degree in Science/ Commerce/ Arts/ Bachelor of Law from a recognized University
• Pay Scale : PB-2, Pay Rs. 9300 - 34800 + Grade Pay Rs. 4200/-

9. Stenographer : 02 Posts
• Age : Below 25 years
• Qualification : Bachelors degree from a recognized University with a pass in Senior Grade English Typewriting and Shorthand examinations conducted by the State Technical Education Board with a speed of 40 words per minute in Typewriting and 120 words per minute in Shorthand.
• Pay Scale : PB-2, Pay Rs. 9300 - 34800 + Grade Pay Rs. 4200/-

10. Junior Stenographer : 03 Posts
• Age : Below 25 years
• Qualification : Matriculation or equivalent qualification with a pass in English Typewriting and Shorthand examinations conducted by the State Technical Education Board with a speed of 40 words per minute in Typewriting and 80 words per minute in Shorthand
• Pay Scale : PB-1, Pay Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs. 2400/-

11. Artist : 01 Post
• Age : Below 30 years
• Qualification : Bachelors degree of a recognized University with Diploma in Commercial Arts from a recognized Institute.
• Pay Scale : PB-1, Pay Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs. 2400/-
